I love to design and create!

My desire to create and design beautiful, unique items started very early in my life.  I began designing and sewing clothes for my Barbie doll at a very young age.  I learned how to sew some of my own clothes for school and I sewed most of the clothes my children wore when they were young.  They insist that I would drag them to the fabric store every week, multiple times, to find fabric to "feed" my love of sewing.  I still love to sew!!!  My mom taught me how to sew and she has always been my best cheerleader in everything; it is because of her that I have the confidence to try new things even when there is chance I will fail miserably.

I still feel a great sense of accomplishment in continuing to cultivate my creative ideas and I am using this creativity for my business.  Many of the linens I use are designed and sewn by me.  They are one of kind.  Most of my linen styles won't look like other linen rental options because they aren't massed produced.  I use high quality fabric and I enjoy designing linens that are unique and timeless.

Over 100 blogs and counting!

Over the past few weeks I have looked at over 100 blogs.  I'm sure that seems like a low number BUT I am new to this type of communication so for me, that is a lot of blogs!  I love how personalities leap off the screen for each individual blog; background patterns, font choices, pictures, music, coordinating color choices and of course...all the posts.  It is amazing how a person you have never met uses words and pictures to give you a window into their life.

I own a business that has linens available to rent for wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations and social gatherings.  I will be using this blog as a reference for my clients so they can find the perfect linens that will make their important celebration beautiful and memorable.

In the near future there will be posts and pictures about my business for those people interested in renting linens from me.  I'm also going to learn some new computer skills so I can customize the details of my blog to better express my style and view of life.
